Be a butterfly in a room full of ladybugs...

Let’s get to the point..

as a woman of color, often times, I’m nervous *AF to travel outside the country (or for that matter around the US).  Often times our non-melanated counter parts don't experience A LOT of the things we do while traveling. Being a woman only adds more into this equation.  From random people wanting to touch my hair & skin. To being whistled at while walking in Rome. Surely traveling alone or with a friend as a *POC (+woman) is a little taunting.

So, this blog is dedicated to you! Those amazing woman of color (or not) who want to travel solo dolo but are just too intimidated to do it! Here’s my take on the best (& worst) places I’ve traveled and felt like a butterfly, in a room full of ladybugs.
